Lions and Tigers and Bears oh My!

Manifestation, Attraction and Vision boards oh My!
How to conquer those fears, visualisation, attraction and manifestation.
Ok. it's time to "Testify!"
Recently I placed an add for Ikea, pots and pans on my Vision Board. I've applied to work there for two years, without success. The pots and pans are something I was attracted to, as they are blue and I used to work in the kitchen at Ikea. It was my first real job and I loved it. I worked there all through high school and into post secondary. That might have helped, well that and I asked for help with my job search on my Facebook. You have to do some of the work. That has help me attract a job.
Perhaps it just focuses your subconscious mind, walking past those kind of subliminal reminders. I put up pictures of what I'd like my future 'place' to look like and I feel that that is what has helped me to save my nest egg. Also life has played a part in this area too in unexpected ways.
There is a picture of a woman, who I thought looked like I used to, in high school. So I put her up and I think I've been looking more and more like my 'old self'. I've been "doing the work" too. Going to the gym, listening to suggestions, like "try a personal trainer". She is a good reminder. It's her expression too one of confidence, and self satisfaction, all in a teasing smirk!
I've been wanting to do something my Mom has been saying forever, "you should be a comedian". I heard that and writer and baker. Could you be all three? Oh gosh that sounds like another project. Maybe I'll put up Julia Child, she wrote, baked and was funny! So in order to visualise this I have a picture of I Love Lucy's, Lucille Ball up on the board. I thought at least she would remind me to keep a seance of humour even if big messes sometimes happen :)
There is also a picture of a devastatingly beautiful young Chinese business woman. I found her in an article about the success of young women in business in China. She has the dragon lady eyes alright, and a fabulous pair of black leather gloves. I love her hair too! What she is there to remind me of is that entrepreneurial side of me. I loved having my own Cafe, and "being my own boss". She is the independent business woman I want to evolve back into, but with a little boy on my hip. So to work on this goal I'm getting my drivers licence, my real estate licence, and my B.A. online. I'm trying to find those gloves too. I've been buying clothes with that career shift in mind. If the "suit makes the man" surely this is true for me too!
In the centre of my board is a picture of a bed in tropical setting on the beach, under it is couples old, young in their beds. I love this picture, it's calming, loving, pure paradise. I also think this is an image of a nice clean Environment. This picture attracts me on so many levels, inner peace, environmentalisim, the importance of family. This is the kind of tranquility that I want my sleeping time to have. I'd also love to attract a life partner so this is why this image with the peaceful couples is in the centre. Is this working, time will tell, fingers crossed for me. A lady I know told me that when she preys she asks God "only for direction, I'll do all the work". So well put, I'll keep my eyes and ears open and do the work. There is no seance in finding a partner and not working daily to love, support and cherish that person.
Testimonial Number Two:
A friend just wrote me that she tried the Vision board too with success:
"Hey man, how are you? I am back in school and I LOVE it! I have to thank you actually as I made a "vision" board, after you told me about it. It worked like a charm! I asked to meet a nice person and I met 3 of them! and i have subsequently gone on 3 dates. and these people were hot. So I have to say thanks for the idea. it worked brilliantly! If you can visualize something, I guess it is easy. You should check out this site:www.43things.com I use it now and I love it, I hope it can help you like it helped me!
Cool and it's a neat site too. "Believe it Achieve it!" If vision boards sounds flaky well I decided to try it when I heard that Fortune 500 executives used this same strategy, as did stars. What do you have to loose?
